The Value of a Website?

The Value of a Website?

Hey. It has been a minute. Or, more accurately, nearly six months since I last sat down and added something to the "Blog" section of the site.

Don't worry, I'm still out there trying to make things happen.

With a few years under my belt I was hoping I could be spending less time unpacking and packing the EZ-Up tent and more time packing online orders, but the best way to move product still seems to be in person. So what is the value of a website for a small maker? Does it simply add legitimacy? Does a site need to accommodate e-commerce? Do blogs matter? Does SEO matter? Does the quality of the product photography matter?

I have been wrestling with these questions lately as I have some time to sit and consider the state of the business in the online world. I don't have any answers at the moment, but  I want to shape this space with purpose and make it useful for the audience/customer and for good old Warbuck Wares. So if you have your own thoughts or experiences, let me know. And if you don't but you are reading this, you can make up for it by buying something from the site.

Kidding aside, thanks for being here.

Best,

Ty
