Well, it is snowing today in the Twin Cities and I just got in from the garage where I go to hammer rivets for bag straps. I finished seven bags this afternoon that have been waiting in the queue for the last week or so. Most of them are a combination of canvas and leather, a classic pairing that seemed to be popular this summer when I had them on hand at art fairs. I can't promise I will be able to get them online this week, but you can see them in person this weekend at Carpe Diem Studio (formerly Healing Elements) in St. Paul. I'll be hanging out with a number of makers from 12:00-5:00pm on Saturday and Sunday; come say hello and get your holiday shopping started a bit early. The window of time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is short this year, so stock up on pieces made by hand in Minnesota and give yourself permission to ignore the cacophony of e-commerce that has been steadily assaulting your senses these past few weeks.
In the meantime, take a look at the pieces I have available online and place an order. I'd love to ship something to you or someone you love (or at least someone you need to buy a gift for)!
Best,
Ty
